Hero Splendor iSmart 110

At the core of the Splendor iSmart 110 is a modern 113.2cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder OHC engine positioned in an upright orientation. Featuring Programmed Fuel Injection with xSens technology, it produces 9.15 PS at 7,500 rpm and a robust 9.89 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm—delivering 10% more torque across the low-to-mid rpm range than its predecessor. Mated to a slick 4-speed gearbox, the upright cylinder geometry improves combustion efficiency and thermal management, while the second-generation i3S system cuts fuel waste during city traffic stops, achieving an impressive real-world mileage of 55 to 60 km/l.

Chassis dynamics marked a clean break from older commuter architectures. Built around a high-tensile steel diamond frame, the iSmart 110 provides significantly improved torsional rigidity and high-speed highway tracking. The front telescopic forks offer an increased travel of 120 mm (15 mm more than the base Splendor), while the rear features twin 5-step adjustable hydraulic dampers. With an exceptional 180 mm ground clearance and a 1,270 mm wheelbase, it tackles deeply rutted rural roads, monsoon water-logging, and tall speed breakers with zero underbelly scraping.

Ergonomics feature a natural upright seating triangle with an accessible 799 mm seat height, well-padded dual-tone seat, and supportive handlebars. The stylish semi-digital instrument console blends an analogue speedometer with a modern LCD display showing fuel level, trip meter, odometer, and an innovative real-time fuel efficiency indicator. Available in both Drum and 240 mm Front Disc variants, it elevates safety beyond entry-level commuter benchmarks.
