Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450

Propulsion comes from the advanced 451.65cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC 4-valve Sherpa 450 engine with ride-by-wire throttle control. Churning out 40.02 PS at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, it is paired with a close-ratio 6-speed manual gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. The engine tuning in the Guerrilla 450 has been calibrated for sharp, energetic throttle response: over 85% of peak torque is available from just 3,000 rpm, delivering exhilarating roll-on overtakes and rapid sprint acceleration that leaves city traffic far behind.

Chassis construction is derived from the Himalayan 450's stiff twin-spar tubular steel frame, optimized for aggressive street geometry. The suspension setup uses 43mm telescopic front forks with 140mm of travel and a linkage-type rear monoshock with 150mm travel, striking a superb compromise between firm cornering support and pothole absorption. Rolling on 17-inch alloy wheels with massive 120/70 front and 160/60 rear tubeless radial tyres, the Guerrilla 450 provides an immense contact patch and commanding road presence.

Ergonomics feature a classic, commanding roadster triangle. The wide, flat handlebars, mid-set foot controls, and sculpted 780mm single-piece bench seat place the rider in an upright, assertive posture that provides commanding control in tight urban traffic. The cockpit features the signature 4-inch round full-colour TFT TripperDash with full Google Maps navigation and media integration. The 11-litre teardrop fuel tank delivers an average fuel economy of 29 to 33 km/l, providing a practical urban range of approximately 320 to 350 km.
